ScreenBeam 1000 EDU enhances classroom orchestration with 4K technology across all device platforms creating ideal teacher/student engagement
SANTA CLARA, CALIF. — June 20, 2019 — ScreenBeam, a global leader in wireless display and collaboration solutions, today launched its latest education-based solution, ScreenBeam 1000 EDU. The new 4K wireless display and collaboration solution uniquely enables native content sharing without apps on all devices including student Chromebooks. ScreenBeam 1000 EDU will debut at the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) conference in Philadelphia, PA on June 23 – 26 in booth #1008.
Specifically designed for today’s modern classroom, the ScreenBeam 1000 EDU is perfect for schools requiring both collaboration and high performance 4K wireless display today and for schools planning to move to 4K displays in the future. The ScreenBeam 1000 EDU offers unmatched capabilities by combining local Wi-Fi mode with industry standard Miracast™, and network infrastructure connectivity or network bridge functionality to easily enable wireless collaboration among teachers and their students.
Unlike most other solutions, ScreenBeam 1000 EDU acts similarly to a wired connection allowing native integration of features like wireless touch for Window 10 and duplicate and extended screen modes for both Windows and MacOS users.
ScreenBeam 1000 EDU features include:
- Native wireless screen mirroring for Windows, iOS, macOS and Android
- 4K output supports any display natively
- Collaborate wirelessly using touch displays and Windows Ink across Office 365 apps
- Classroom orchestration and wireless display for up to 50 Windows 10/11 student devices
- Connects to displays, projectors and switchers via HDMI® and USB
- Native extended desktop maintains use of device for other actions
Ensuring maximum performance in lesson flow and collaboration, ScreenBeam 1000 EDU includes the popular features found in ScreenBeam Classroom Commander. This combination allows for both wireless display and student device orchestration for up to 50 Windows 10/11 student devices, without taxing the school’s network or requiring additional servers. It also enables better interactive learning as teachers can move freely throughout the classroom as well as utilize touch displays and wireless Inking.
Each ScreenBeam 1000 EDU also includes Central Management System (CMS) software to remotely manage largescale deployments across multiple locations, saving time and money. Overall, the ScreenBeam 1000 EDU delivers an affordable, easy teacher and student experience, with advanced technology to provide simplicity and scalability for deployment and management.
“Devices are just boxes of stuff, what we seek to do is bring impact to the classroom,” said David Lopez, Senior Manager of Strategic Alliances for US Education at ScreenBeam. “This next evolution of enhanced wireless display does just that and we are thrilled to bring it to the education market space.”
